Lviv Theatre Voskresinnia was established in Lviv in 1990 year on the wave of social transformations and regaining independence by Ukraine. New stage was created as a result of agreement of the young actors from the different Ukrainian towns, who were not fully satisfied with previously existing “lightly” academic theatre. Jaroslaw Fedoryshyn, well known artist and an experienced theatre director became head and principal manager of a new theatre.The Theatre Voskresinnia quickly became popular, presenting world dramaturgy which was not previously presented in Ukraine. Step by step by mixing traditional psychological drama with modern visional forms group worked out a characteristic stage formula.
