One of the most famous brass bands from Moldova, in the north-east of Romania, Fanfara Din Cozmesti is made up of about 15 musicians, true messengers of traditional music and folklore of their country. It is a traveling group playing at parties, births, baptisms, weddings, funerals and sometimes even called by some lovers to play a serenade under the window of the beloved. The virtuous Ionel Chiriac brothers of Fanfara Din Cozmesti have been called by Goran Bregovic to be part of his Wedding and Funeral Band.
