Circus Klomp combines acrobatics with physical humour and 'the best' of Dutch folklore. In our shows you are introduced to the rural couple Driekus and Bertha. Wearing their traditional Dutch costumes they present a circus show which is inspired by the down home Dutch countryside. In their streetshow 'Sweet Kitchen Romance' (20 minutes) it's time for coffee for farmer Driekus and his wife Bertha. Their daily pattern is changed when a game of teasing and challenging grows from hazardous business on stacked chairs to acrobatic romance on the kitchen table.
