The performance’s script is inspired by events which took place in the second half of the 19th century. Jan Wnek, a peasant, an illiterate and a self-taught person, took the first successful long-distance side-slip flights, using a “hang glider” done with his own hands. The story about Jan Wnęk is a story about dreams, a need for escape from everyday life, a need for creation and freedom.
