Presentation:
We are Vaya+B-Side Company, a contemporary circus collective that in 2020 opened the show I See You, as a French-Portuguese co-production, thanks to the collaboration with the associations Teatro Experimental de Lagos (PT) and Les Reumeurs qui Courrent (FR).
I See You is a performance that proposes an immersion into the thoughts of a contemporary woman, offering a creative approach to the subject of gender.
In 2021 we intend to insert this work into the European Cultural market, so participating in your festival is an excellent opportunity to achieve this purpose. We have been granted by the Portuguese government to finance the travel cost of an International touring.
Synopsis I See You:
Infiltrated in the secrets of the human mind, “I See You” reveals the inner world of a woman, empathising with the sensitivity and madness of the feminine. Through an excellent acrobatic performance, its emotional whirlwinds and empowerment are revealed, questioning the roles of today’s woman and the complementarity of both genders.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

In case of night shows we need a few lights provide by organization. In case of day show we kindly ask for shadow spots or working at hours when the sun is not at the highest point, as we are doing dynamic partner acrobatics and the base needs to look directly to the sky to catch the flyer. - :
We have our sound system, and we need electricity point to connect it. In case the festival provides we need only mini jack input. - : 220 Volt

flat floor without inclination ideal dimensions: 8x8 mts and 7 mts height / if this is not possible we could work with 6x7mts and 6 mts height. Over this performing area we install an outdoor carpet, for acrobatics /tatami puzzle of 5x5 mts and 4 chairs in the back part. A back wall is required. Public disposition 180ยบ
