Theatre of Dreams

A solitary inhabitant of an unusual room, situated at the border of dream and reality, awaits, dreams and recalls.
The world which surrounds him is dwarfish, though densely populated.
Sometimes he envies the figures who live there.
For them his house is an area of fun and games.
Dreaming about love, he does not notice the one who cares about him organizing his life, the one who sometimes, presumably not only in a dream, becomes his partner. She could be the latter. If only he could see her.
Does the hero escape from the reality, or does he influence it?
When he sleeps, does he dream within a dream?
Are we, the spectators of his dream?
Will we still be there, when he stops dreaming?
Perhaps it is him who keeps us alive?
Perhaps we exist thanks to him, thanks to his creation?
Thanks to his lonely effort to have interesting dreams, to keep the theatre going?
What will happen when he finally leaves his room?
