Vloeistof is a collaboration started in 2000 by Swiss choreographer Anja Reinhardt and Dutch choreographer Yuri Bongers. Yearly they show performances and interventions at festivals, theatre’s and in public space. Their work is shown in China, Switzerland, Finland, France, Germany, Belgium and Canada (a.o.) Inspired by the beauty of the everyday our performances aim to reflect on human behaviour in an urban, modern setting, bringing out absurd, funny, and poetic elements. Not a dance idiom itself is the starting point, nor the aesthetic form. We use dance to actively involve the spectators and encourage them to reflect on the reality in which they find themselves on a daily basis.
