Teatro Extremo (TE) is a Portuguese Theatre Company founded in 1994 in Almada/Portugal with Fernando Jorge Lopes artistic direction. Since 2015 is responsible for the management and programming the Municipal Theater Teatro-Estúdio António Assunção. TE organizes since 1996 the international art festival SEMENTES for children, young people and all the family. Until 2020 TE as created 53 shows inspired on authors as Oscar Wilde, Umberto Eco, Chico Buarque, Plínio Marcos, Mia Couto or on original shows as MYHOS. In 2002 was awarded the silver medal of Cultural Merit by the City Council of Almada.
