As a boy, Thomas Blackthorne bounced on his bed, went swimming straight after eating and rode his bicycle without using his hands. As an adolescent, he rode a motorcycle on the wall of death, learnt fire-eating and sword swallowing, never got his girlfriend home on time and generally became the person his parents had warned him about. However, that is all in the past and today he is a very serious Fakir and extreme stunt performer who swallows neon light bulbs and pneumatic hammers. He pushes skewers through his face and nails his tongue to a block of wood. He holds several world records, including the heaviest weight lifted by a human tongue – over 12kg (like 2 bowling balls). He travels the world, amazing some and appalling others.
